Sefer Kol Aryeh, in-depth study on Sugiot of the Shas, by Rabbi Aryeh Leib Charif who served as Av Beit Din and Rosh Mativta of congregation of Hamla in Russland (brought to print by his grandson Rabbi Schneur Zalman Mendlowitz of Hebron). Jerusalem, [1866]. Yisrael Beck Press. Two different title pages.
Leaf preceding title page contains fine inscription in handwriting of publisher who writes in Sephardic [!] writing and signs according to Sephardic custom “Schneur Zalman son-in-law of Rabbi Menachem”. At conclusion of inscription he notes: “… may the merit of the righteous protect him to succeed in his endeavors…” and he adds on margins: “Safeguard for home”.
