“Mazal Tov… Kol Sason V’Kol Simcha Kol Chatan V’Kol Kala”, magnificent inscription illustrated on flowered stenciled cutout of parchment. Given as a gift from members of the Beit Midrash “Klois of Rabbi Moshe Ken”, in honor of wedding of “member Rabbi Yehuda Leib son of Rabbi Aharon Scheier. [Frankfurt am Main].Elul (1763).
The abovementioned groom is the Ga’on Rabbi Yehuda Leib son of Rabbi Aharon Scheier (1733-1821), Av Beit Din of Düsseldorf from c. 1780, among great scholars of Ashkenaz during his generation, (for additional information related to him see: Homilies of the Chatam Sofer II, pp. 423-424). A eulogy pamphlet"Shalosh yevavot", was printed in his memory by Rabbi Yehuda Leib Carlsberg (Mainz 1886).
