Ownership notations. Stamps of Rabbi “Chaim Aryeh Leib Rotenberg, rabbi of Stawiski” – Rabbi Chaim Aryeh Rotenberg-Mishkovsky, known as “Rabbi Leib Stavisker” (1836-1898), among the greatest and most righteous well known rabbis of Lithuania; studied Kibbutz HaPerushim in Eishyshok, was closely associated with the Chafetz Chaim, who studied with him on an individual basis and even proposed that he write a composition such as the "Mishnah Berurah" prior to him writing it himself. Rabbi in Orlova, Szalodak and Stawiski. Father of the Ga’on Rabbi Chizkiyahu Yosef Mishkovski Av Beit Din of Krynica. Some of his Torah was printed in the book "Pnei HaAryeh HaChai" – See attached material. One gloss [in his handwriting?].
