Two rulings and alimony Shtar from an estate, signed by Rabbi "Shlomo ebn Shitrit" and Rabbi "Maimon Abuchatzira". (Morocco), 1912, 1914.
On reverse side of leaf are handwritten (in pencil) payment vouchers on account for 1915-1916.
Leaf 18.5 cm. Good condition, stains and folding marks.

Letter by Rebbe Yerucham Leiner of Radzin, Author of Tiferet Yerucham

Letter by the Radzin Rebbe Yerucham Leiner. Brooklyn, New York, 1954.
Sent to the Beit Din in Jerusalem, and according to the Beit Din's lists on the letter margins, the subject was related to printing Hassidic literature.
Rabbi Yerucham Leiner (1888-1964), son of Rebbe Avraham Yehoshua Heshel of Chelm. Outstanding Torah genius, renowned for the dozens of Torah articles and Torah research books he wrote. After the Holocaust, he was appointed Rebbe and lived in London and New York.
Aerogram, 22.5 cm. Good condition.

Letter from Yeshiva Student During the Period “Bein Hazmanim” – Dobele (Latvia), 1715

Letter from student at yeshiva or “heder” writing to his parents in the days “Bein Hazmanim”. Dobele (Latvia), March 1715.
An Important document regarding the history of Jewish education at the beginning of the 18th century. The student writes “between the redemption of Purim and the Redemption from Egypt” (between Purim and Passover), to “my beloved, my master my father…Mr Bendit,…my dear mother Feyer…”. He informs them of his good health, and then writes [in Yiddish] that even though it is holiday time he is continuing to study as usual, and perhaps even more so, and adds details about his studies. He also writes about his sister who is with him, who also studies a number of chapters of the Pentateuch, the Book of Esther and the Song of Songs.
Apparentl this is a draft or copy of the original letter, made at that period.
20 cm. Good condition, stains and creases.
