Mishmar HaAm, cloth arm ribbon. [Jerusalem, late 1940's].
Mishmar HaAm: unit of volunteers established in September 1947 in Jerusalem for maintenance of public order. The unit was composed of people over the age of enlistment and those who did not enlist for health reasons. During the blockage on Jerusalem Mishmar HaAm carried out an important role in distributing food, water and fuel and preserving the order in the city. Units of Mishmar HaAm operated in other cities as well.
Good condition. Few stains.
A candelabrum chiseled out of stone. Characteristic of works done in the Cyprus detention camps, [end of 1940's].
On the candelabrum the words "Tel Chai" are etched. Light etchings like a halo around candles. The back part of the stone is rough and not chiseled.
7X9 cm. Good condition. Small breaks.
Cyprus, a brooch for clothing. Etching on coin (Folk handicraft).
The shape of Cyprus Island with a barbed wire fence and a watch tower. At the top the word "Cyprus" is etched and at the bottom another barbed wire fence, framed. On verso the original minting of the coin is recognizable.
Diameter: 2 cm. Good condition. Scratches.
"Israel", metal and glass plate. USA(?), after establishment of Israel.
A gilt State emblem within the Star of David adorns the center of the plate. Five of the star's triangles contain illustrations of Jerusalem (Tower of David, University and Western Wall), the sixth depicts Haifa and the Technion. The illustrations are encircled by strips adorned with butterfly wings. The upper section of the plate is made of painted glass, the background to the illustrations is a shiny-blue which changes color depending upon the angle of light.
Diameter: 29.5 cm. Good condition, slight defects, pieces of color have peeled from the glass.

Blue and pale blue prints, with the date May 14, 1948 and an illustration of a map of Israel (according to the UN Partition Plan).
On verso “Dedicated to the Pioneers of Palestine” and stamp of manufacturer “Stores Inc. Newark”.

In center of plate drawing of Shylock, Jewish figure of greedy and unscrupulous type of the Shakespearean play "The Merchant of Venice". On verso stamp of manufacturer and stamp “Illustrations from Merchant of Venice – Shakespeare, Made in Great Britain”.
Diameter: 24.5 cm. Very good condition. Three holes on back of base, for hanging.
"Mazal Tov", copper plate with etched writing and decorations. Germany? silver-plated copper. Stamp “10”.
In center of plate "Mazal Tov" within a Star of David. Surrounding are plant pattern designs, lions and a vulture. On edges of plate decorations of Stars of David and plants.

In center printing of Star of David, caption “For Jerusalem sake will not rest” in Hebrew and English and illustration of armed Hebrew soldier raising his hands in the air (bears a strong resemblance to a similar illustration by Arthur Szyk). On verso hook for hanging on wall.

Brooch with hand-painted enamel plate.
In center illustration of Star of David composed of pink and purple triangles, in its center illustration of unidentified symbol. At its top illustration of a cross. Frame of enamel plate is black.
Apparently, the brooch was designed after the holocaust and is a reminder of the pink patch which was used to indicate homosexuals in the Nazi concentration camps.
Diameter: 2.5 cm. Good condition. Slightly faded colors.
Chosid [Hassid], bronze sculpture by artist I.W. Wilsker.
Image of a Jewish Hassid dressed with a long cloak, one of his hands positioned behind his back and second hand pulling his beard, he is wearing a round brimmed hat.
Attached to a massive wooden base with two plates with the name of the sculpture and the name of the artist.
Height of sculpture: 27.5 cm. Height of base: 12 cm. Good condition. White paint stains. Wood and plates worn and stained.

The scroll is sewn to two types of fabric, scrolled on a fine white-ivory color bakelite handle, with various decorations.

On verso an illustration of the map of Israel, in the center – a candelabrum surrounded by illustrations of industry, settlements, mountains, lighthouse and a ship.

Palestine Museum Pack. The pack contains samples of plants from the Eretz Israel and relates them to verses from the Scriptures and New Testament. The samples are stored in small boxes containing seeds, plants, minerals and more. Attached is a 17-pages booklet describing the items with several illustrations. English.

8 Ceramic figurines of citrus fruits, hand-casted and hand-painted. Israel.
Figurines molded in the form of pomelo, orange, lemon, grapefruit and tangerine, hand made and painted with extreme precision. Some of the fruit bear a JAFFA stamp, and one displays the name of the artist, Gidi Levy.
Presumably made to order for the JAFFA Company.
Placed in straw-basket 14x26x35 cm. Good condition. Spots of peeling color.
