Copy owned by Rebbe Yehoshua of Ostrova, the Toldot Adam, with his stamp on the title page.
Rebbe Yehoshua of Ostrova (d. 1873), a Polish Tzadik, son of R. Shlomo Leib of Lentshna and disciple of the Sar Shalom of Belz. Succeeded his father as rebbe of thousands of Chassidim, and was renowned for his greatness and holiness. He authored Toldot Adam (Józefów 1875). His only daughter married the first rebbe of Biala.
Signature at the top of the title page: "Avraham Aharon Perlow of Biala" – presumably a descendant of Rebbe Avraham Aharon Perlow son of Rebbe Shlomo Chaim Perlow of Koidanov.
