Illustrated Passover Haggadah, in Hebrew and "Lashon Ashkenazim", with the Tzeli Esh commentary. Venice: Alvise Bragadin, [1716].
Each page of text enclosed in a fine decorative border. Many woodcut illustrations.
This Haggadah was simultaneously printed in three editions, one with a Judeo-Italian translation, one with Ladino translation, and the third (the present edition), described on the title page as being in "Hebrew and Lashon Ashkenazim". The latter edition also comprises a Judeo-Italian (and not Yiddish) translation, though unlike the Judeo-Italian edition, the text of Birkat HaMazon here follows Ashkenazi rite.
[26] leaves. 32.5 cm. Fair-poor condition. Stains, including dark food stains to several leaves. Many open tears, with damage to title page border and to text and illustrations on other leaves; repaired with paper. Photocopy replacements in several places (all leaves professionally restored). Worming, affecting text and illustrations, repaired with paper. New binding.
Yaari 82; Otzar HaHaggadot 132.
