This is the first work of the Divrei Chaim to be published, albeit anonymously. (Responsa Divrei Chaim was published 11 years later, in 1875).

Tears, including marginal open tears to one leaf, affecting text. Tears to title page of part II, repaired with paper. Margins trimmed with damage to text in several places, and slightly affecting border of title page of part II. Handwritten inscriptions. New binding.
