Ahnenpass – A Certificate Documenting Aryan Lineage – A Family from Vienna, 1937

Der Ahnenpass ["ancestor pass"]. Berlin: Standesamtswesen [civil registry office], [ca. 1937]. German.
A certificate documenting Aryan lineage, issued to a woman from the Dolák (nee Raubinek) family from Vienna.
The Ahnenpass was a passport-like document documenting the Aryan lineage of its owner, this due to the Law for the Restoration of the Professional Civil Service, which determined that civil servants (and later also lawyers, teachers and physicians) could not be of Jewish origin.
This certificate documents members of the abovementioned family (dates of birth going back to 1820), including members of the families Berger, Bulius, Bittermann and Frank.
48 pp (only the first 13 pages were used), 20.5 cm. Good condition. Some stains. Original cover.
