Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kasher (1895-1984) was born in Warsaw, and was close with Poland's great rabbis, Rabbi Menachem Zemba, Rabbi Yerucham Perla, and more. He founded and edited Degel HaTorah, and was known for his great erudition in all of the Talmud and midrashim.
In 1925, he made aliya to Eretz Israel. He moved to the USA in 1928, and made aliya again around 1960. He left a great Torah legacy: Divrei Menachem responsa and novellae, tens of volumes of the Torah Shlema Chumash, publishing of the writings of the Ga'on of Rogatchov, publishing of the writings of Rabbi Yehuda Yerucham Perla (which reached him together with the rest of Rabbi Perla's huge library) and more.
Five notebooks and additional leaves, altogether around 200 leaves (not counted), varying sizes and conditions.
