The first volume of "The Black Book", that documents the crimes against the Jews during World War II, and the active struggle fought against the Nazis. Ilya Ehrenbeurg and Vasili Grossman edited the book; both were Red Army reporters during World War II, amongst the first reporters to expose news of the death camps. At the end of the book there is an appendix that contains rare pictures of the life of the Jews in the ghettos. Romanian.
