The book Nach'lat Shivah, laws of divorce and halachic documents, Rabbi Shmuel son of Rabbi David HaLevi. [Frankfurt am Main, 1693].
Forged title page: Style of title page copied from the original edition printed in Amsterdam and specifies the year: 1667. In the colophon at the end of the book, the true date is indicated, also the addition of a "second edition" is mentioned, but in fact it was not printed in this publication.
Owners' signatures, a memorandum to testify the draft of a will is recorded on the page preceding the title page.
A page has been pasted to the back binding on which is printed: "….business contract according to halacha… in the presence of Rabbi… Hirsch Leib and his brother Rabbi Leib Berlin".
1-59, 40-100 [supposed to be 101] leaves. 18.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains. Several pages restored unprofessionally. Original binding with leather spine, worn.

Owners' signatures: "Moshe Chanina Lipmann Meizlish, Rabbi of Piotrkow ". "Yonah Landau of Czestochowa ".
Ink stamps of Rabbi "Zalman Sorotzkin, Rabbi of Lutsk" [President of Mo'etzet Gedolei HaTorah (World Rabbinic Council)], and "Rabbi Yisrael Meir Freimann, Rabbi of Ostrava".
The book "Besamim Rosh" was the focal point of a raging polemic: Rabbi Mordechai Benet, the Chatham Sofer and others, claimed that the book was a forgery and that these responsa were not the fruit of the Rosh's pen, but of the publisher's, Rabbi Saul Berlin. The authenticity of the book remains unclear until today.

1. Tzemach Tzedek Responsa, by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Krochmal. Amsterdam, [1675]. Including pamphlet, which appears at the end of the book, by the son of the author, Rabbi Yehudah Liva Av Beit Din of Nikolsburg, in which three replies, comments and glosses on the book, aside from those printed in the book itself, were printed. Wood, parchment and ancient leather binding. Ancient owner signature upon title page “[Yisrael?] son of Rabbi Bo’az from Geloga”.
2. Sefer Maharil. Offenbach, [1720]. [At beginning of book, title page with abbreviated version, on other side approbation of Rabbi Ya’akov Cohen (Papirash) of Prague].
3. [Shulchan Aruch] Tur Orach Chaim, including Chidushei Dinim by the Rama, Be’er HaGolah and Be’er Heitev by Rabbi Yishaya son of Rabbi Avraham HaLevi. [Homburg? 1734?]. The National Library possesses a missing copy which contains [1], 284 leaves only. The following copy is missing the title page, however contains 289 leaves.
